Selling a refunded IPhone to a company

So basically there are company’s that buy used phones like rebuy etc,
I have an iPhone that I refunded years ago and now want to sell from Amazon.
Can I Sektor phone to company or will I have problems and they have a way to know that it have been refunded ?

If the phone is unlocked, I'm pretty sure no one would care, but I would recommend selling it to a person, because people are retarded.
By unlocked, I meant carrier unlocked.
