I think it's a good idea but maybe 1 month, so in case people who win aren't behaving as desired? Or maybe have an elaborate entry sequence that will filter through people just wanting it for nefarious reasons. Idk. I like it. I was trying to think of a way to contribute here still. And I was thinking of giving away 1 month of regular premium like I have. But then I am a little afraid of what the consequences would be since I'm new as well. Maybe I will have OTHER people nominate someone else, instead of entering themselves in the giveaway. And to say WHY they nominate someone. Maybe not allowing nominating accounts created after the date of the giveaway so they have to be accounts with a certain number of posts or something.

Overall I think it's a good idea and incentive to participate. If I were you I would just try to think of a way to make it fair but also worthwhile without accidentally upgrading a spammer or something.
