Supreme 2FA Check Bug/Misconfiguration

When clearing cookies & cache on browser exit & turning on VPN on login I get 2FA 2x times, 1x 2FA and 1x 2FA Check due to IP change. Looks like a misconfiguration since, I should only get the "2FA Check" if my IP changes suddenly in an active session. Since I get 2FA on every login the 2FA Check logically only needs to work in relative to active sessions.

Also, if it would ask it only once per session it would be nice. I am using vpns and clear browser each time and it asks for 2fa twice on login and repeats it like every 5-10 minutes. I guess its because of the VPN, so saving some kind of session or something might be good there.
