For context: some competitive players have been getting RCE attacks on Apex Legends. RCE means remote code execution; the hacker can remotely inject code into your game and deploy malware. In this case the hacker thought it would be funny to inject cheats into competitive players, with the hope they get automatically banned by the system.
This is bad, like catastrophically bad. This vulnerability could theoretically be used to install hidden malware of unsuspecting players.
