We take responsibilities for the hack and data breach of redONE Network Sdn Bhd (www.redone.com.my), a MVNO telecommunication company in Malaysia with 1.2 million subscribers, offering both pre-paid and post-paid mobile services in partnership with Celcom Axiata, Malaysia's biggest network provider. In addition, redONE company offers financial services via bank partnership (Citibank, HSBC, Alliance Bank) (redCard) and insurance services via partnership (AIG, Takuful) (redCare), in which both services were also breached during the 2nd attack of redONE company.
This data breach involved both redONE databases and source coding. Stolen personal data of customers include full name, NRIC (national identitication number), address, phone, email, etc.
To check if the user shown in the sample, is a customer of redONE, use the redOne-sample.csv file, select a random value from the the NRIC column. Go to redONE official website checker, https://login.redone.com.my/IDChecker/. Input the NRIC, select either post-paid or pre-paid and submit for verification.
