Learn how to build SSH keys with PuTTY
We all know that the SSH protocol can connect to a remote server and manage and manage the server just like your system. It is one of the most widely used server connectivity protocols in the world. In this article, we will teach you how to build an SSH key .
Cryptography has always been a fascinating topic in the computer and is concerned with the inaudibility of information between two or more systems on the network, and the cryptography that is to be explained today is applicable to the SSH protocol.
By creating an SSH key you can create a successful encryption between your client and server. On some hosting and VPS sites when ordering a server, one of the mandatory fields for SSH key construction is that in this tutorial we will teach you how to create an SSH key with PuTTY software. One of these keys (Public Key) is on your server and the other one (Private Key) on your computer that is going to connect to the server. Then when you want to connect to the server, the two keys are compared and if they match, the connection is established via SSH to the server.
First, open PuTTYgen, where the PuTTY software is installed . Then select the Generate key in the Actions section to create the key. Moving the mouse over the Key selects the Random Key value, known as entropy, and is used to construct anything that is not similar to the others.

After creating the key in the Key Passphrase section, it is recommended that you also enter a password to ensure security.
When done, save the key and keep the private key in a safe place.
How to use keys in SSH
To use the keys in ssh, first enter the PuTTYgen application and click on the File tab, then select the Open key and select the Load Private Key option, and after selecting the password key file you selected, enter.
