Spoofing device type on LAN

I've been trying to make my device seem like another to connect to a public wifi. I have an Android 11 with rooted magisk and BusyBox.

I've tried changing Mac for a while but realized that's not what is telling the network my device is a phone. So I've hit a block. I have no idea what to change and what's giving it away. I want to make my phone seem like a laptop or an ipad when connecting to a network. Its possible for me to connect but I can't log on when on my device because it gives away that it is a phone. What should I do?

Maybe you’re UA?
Try changing your device’s name too.
Also, try changing your MAC to that one of a windows pc. I.e. known device for testing purposes.

Phones also share something which is called network adapter company. I think u need to be able to spoof/change that as well.
