What is the most valuable lesson you learned about relationship?

I agree with what your mother said...take care of your energy!!! Before entering a relationship be sure you are at peace with yourself and ready to be vulnerable... No matter what kind of relationship. But if I were to talk about romantic relationships, my opinion and my advice are to grow the child in you first. What I mean by saying this is that the relationship you have with your parents as a kid will be projected into your future romantic involvements. What we all need to understand is that in a romantic, friendly, whatever relationship, we have to learn how to let our walls down...Otherwise, we can develop a fear of intimacy. Learn to be happy with yourself, because when a relationship ends that's who you'll be ending with.
