Sylius Plus is a marketplace multi-vendor shopping cart written in PHP. I would like to get a hold of the code for Sylius Plus to take a look at how it is put together and see how it works. Specifically the database design for multi shop e-commerce platforms and how they handle billing and order shipments.

I am trying to create a multi vendor database and absolutely cannot find specifications on database design in the open source community. Plenty of information is available for normal e-commerce stores but since most multi-vendor marketplaces are for profit they tend to keep these designs a secret.

As someone who is still learning how to code, I search out ready made implementations of things I want to learn (I try to find clean code if possible), then I dive into that code and rewrite it myself from scratch. Surely other people do this? I've rewritten the Sylius open source code without using their framework and would like to see how to implement their Sylius Plus package on top of this. I have been piecing it together (which is a good learning experience) but have hit a few hurdles in that I am now designing something that an entire group of people took their time to produce. I just want to learn from this not reinvent something to sell, so if anyone has any insight into this, please help out.

We can discuss how they did it or find the code somewhere to go through. I am up for a discussion at any rate. Maybe we can create a better implementation. Thanks for taking the time to read this post.
