TO BECOME A GRAY HAT ?

So here, I'm I want to become kind of gray hat and I think this forum might help me, but I don't know the step like what to learn first about like programmation language and what OS to use how to protect my computer, do you have any clue to this ? Like I know a lot of you know how to manage OS and software, I accept any advice I think I know how to use my computer I mean a little , but I want to improve.
