Thread body bold issue

I'm writing a thread and for some reason every time I edit in the "full edit" way, and press the settings icon I see there are tons of [b][b] and [/b][/b] that I didn't put there.

Strangely, when I don't press the settings icon (so editing the way the thread is displayed, no code) the b's are not there. however, when pressing update, there they appear.
