Which OS for dump databases?

Hello buddies,
I'm new here, been long time in german forum but the people there don't like to help anyone which is sad. So I'm trying to find any help in english forum to take a look how the atmosphere of people here is etc. w/e.
I want to try out a new business and I already have many information about "how to get own combos" etc. but there are always different OS preffered in tutorials.

I wanted to ask experienced users here which OS is the best to dump databases? (Search dorks, dump, etc. all those tools)
Maybe Linux? If yes which version? Or even Windows?

I would love to here your experience.

If you just started cracking, best still windows, user friendly, ez to use, a lot of tutorials here and on ytb and on other forums,
If you want to be very good to cracking, use kali linux, less tutrorials, not very user frienldy, but super powerful !
