Why do they cry for likes?

Why do most thread starters beg (or threaten) for likes? They will automatically get tons of likes if they give value to the thread. 

Most thread starters copy content from other forums and then cry for likes. It's so disgusting.

because they give accounts or such for free and leechers dont like , when they see sum like if you dont like you get banned its especially written for them.
