Why have talks about BP skins returning skyrocketed?

It appears that ever since the hate of the item shop, the talks of BP skins returning have doubled. This topic has been around since the beginning of the BP, but now even the most diehard Fortnite YouTubers are talking about it. I have my own opinions on this topic but I want to know why are they just NOW talking about BP skins coming back https://19216801.onl/ https://routerlogin.uno/ ?

pretty weird, i hope they dont add these old cosmetics back though. free ones, that would be sold for vbucks in the item shop would be... okay i guess, but bringing back shit like black knight or floss would be a shit move on epics part.
