Why is everyone chasing USDT and not BTC

I think USDT is less value for Bitcoin . So im wondering why throughout facebook, everyone wants to exchange USDT so much?

Well for me USDT is a stable coin so it doesn't lose value. So it will be 99.9% $1 at any given time.

I use a bot that does trades for me if for BTC or any coins that I own decrease in value it will trade all my coins to USDT or other stable coins of my choice just so I don't get REKT if btc plummets under 20k lol

Some people use USDT for backing/liquid pools or using it for collateral for loans/trading.
