Hello thanks We can see that the three different job areas have had different trends between 1980 and 1990. Engineering and Agriculture number of workers have decreased, whereas Service Industries line shows a major increase in workers in such division. Also, we can notice a major and rapid decrease in Agriculture from 5 million people employed in 1980 to nearly 1 million in 1985 and then, from 1985-1990, the decrease becomes less pronounced, reaching 200 thousand workers employed by 1990. Engineering line shows how the number of workers steadily decreased within the previously mentioned time frame. On the other hand, in regards with the Service Industries sector, the figure shows four main parts: the first one, showing a somewhat steady and gradual increase from 1980 to 1983, the second part depicts how the curve is levelled out from 1983 to 1986, then a major rapid increased is seen, thus making the Service Industries trend go from 6 million in 1986 to roughly 8.5 million during mid 1988. Finally, from 1989 to 1990 we notice the curve is levelled out again.
