Hi, has anyone done whole house filtration ? How profitable is it and can the water be considered potable afterwards?

Complete waste of money. The water won't magically become potable just because you installed some fancy filter. It's just a scam to empty your pockets. It's still going to be filled with all sorts of contaminants and impurities. You might as well drink from a toxic waste dump.
