i love Demon slayer.
Its very mainstream but im not a trend watcher.
Demon slayer has undoubtly 100% the best characters on anime, there is no bad characters. Even muzan which is the bad guy of the anime is one of the best written villains in any anime, there is no bad hashira (pillar) and the backstory of Tanjiro is insane, literally insane. The anime is more about Hinokami Kagura then nezuko being a demon XD
manga is insane too i wish some people didnt die that end up dying

tanjiro- Tanjiro is the best main character, tanjiro is so caring and loving and is so good hearted even when someone went inside his mind he could see all there was on tanjiro was good thoughts and with the person having evil intend the souls of tanjiro still helped me that’s simply how good hearted tanjiro is.
tanjiro is the user of the strongest breath form called sun breathing inherited by yoriichi which soon will be like madara of demon slayer when he is animated
Zenitsu: A very unique character, what makes him unique is how he is a coward and scared of fighting but when he sleeps he is really strong and almost undefeatable by the demons he has faced so far. The fact that he could not learn other breath forms is another feature i like about him how he found the alternative, if he can’t do something else, might perfect the thing he can do.
Inosuke: not hateable, vulgar, strong, from the deep mountains and yet his face looks like a baby. He is very unique altho the show has not given him much spotlight in the final arc we can see more about insouke on how he ended up being a mountain boy and everything.
Nezuko: The first ever demon to refuse eating human flesh and said by the author of demon slayer, for a demon to beat the urge of blood consumption is like not drinking water for 5,000 years and having a glass of water infront of you. Very strong will.
Hashiras:
I will only go thru my favourite ones.
Sanemi: Much like inosuke, a crazy, violent guy who has suffered many unfortunate events during his life such as being forced to kill his mother, watching his only friend die, watching his brother die many stuff about him that have led sanemi to being so aggressive but we learn sanemi is very sweet and nice and caring.
He is insanely strong and he raped kokushibo.
Tokito: 13 year old who had the talent of gods. His ancestors are the strong family in the world, the tsugkuni. Very nice :)
