Just Open your console ( by pressing the button above your TAB button or pressing Shift + the button above you TAB button ) and type this Command "menu_cleanupgmas" without the ".
Let me explain you why this will fix your game, Well if you had a lot of addons or joined a lot of servers without downloading the server's addons from the workshop, well the mods stays in your gmod folder, (that goes the same for your unsubscribed mods) and that will cause your game to contain alot of cash and a lot of addons and it will be hard for the server to check the addons so it will crash your game, this command is gonna remove and clean all of the addons that you unsubbed from or don't need. which will prob fix your problem.
