Why can't we just print more money

Yes okay, I might sound a little retarded for this, but hear me out. 

WHY CANT WE PRINT MORE MONEY?

If a country is in serious debt or wants to, you know, just quickly buy something *ignore my tiny scaling im acting like albania is gonna buy a pc or smt*

Why cant they just print that exact money and pay it off, no need to go excessive like  them little nazis that went into the great depression or whatever, then printed carts and houses full of cash? For what.
