Don't want to wait for an entire bottle of wine to chill in the fridge but can't stand the thought of watering down a glass with ice cubes? Plop in a few frozen grapes and you're all set. But in a squatting posture it releases completely. Basically, humans are designed not to leak, so in an upright position, there is a bend in the digestive tracts between the rectum and anus, that stops us from pooping, much like a bend in a garden hose stops the flow of water. A squat opens the pipes and frees the flow entirely. That's why you should have a step to put your feet on and imitate a squatting position whilst taking a shit.
