I made one a few years ago that I still use for IMAP + a few webmail domains. Really nothing too special about it. You mainly want one that has a config allowing you to add/update IMAP domain hosts, ports, and auth methods. Preferably one that also kicks out misconfigured/unconfigured domains to a separate output and allows you to blacklist domains (ie google.com).
