can someone explain this to me xd
backstory: I've been best friends w her since 9th grade and in 10th grade, I realized I had feelings for her when she told me bout her bf so since then till 11th grade, my feelings were buried. I asked her out in 11th grade, months after her breakup. she said she didn't feel the same. and like about a month ago she told me that she had feelings for me. but she had a pact that she wouldn't date till she's 18 because of her past experiences. we dated for like 2 days to see how things would go. and we've been texting like how people who date would text. but we're not dating. so we made a pact that if by the time she's 18 and we're still into each other we'd date. and so the way we text/talk (like people who date text/talk). back to last night. she texts me that. I just replied saying "I understand", when I don't actually understand what those texts actually mean. Help?

Erm not sure if I am right, but what I got is that she doesn't want to date anymore. But maybe stay friends, that's why she said "i still luv you" ? She also obvouisly cares about you cus she apologises for making you wake up to those messages and also asks you tyo msg her when u see it.
saying "i understand" probably didnt help though...

I'm aware your not dating haha, i think shes going back on the deal you made. In my eyes you have a couple options depending on what you wanna do. Do you still like her?
