Updated windows and it fucked my networking so I spent like 13 hours trying to fix it, impossible.

Backed up everything with that software whatever it's called and partioned one of the other drives and made it a recovery disc (forgot to make it bootable)

so put the pc in safe mode (without networking) can't login cus I use my Microsoft account and apparently that info isn't stored locally

It reboots into safe mode

I'm stuck, I can buy a recovery drive or Windows install usb but they are kinda overpriced

Idk give me ideas - although tbh today was awesome found a really good show on netflix and binged it pmsl

Ps the show is called aliens 10/10

i think you need to install linux on the secondary partition, backup your data and then reinstall windows on the first partition

I had a tiny 64gb with tails on it sitting right beside my PC, as soon as I actually need the fucking thing it's gone

Hey! I have dealt with this alot try booting into safe mode (IF you are able to get to this your windows isn't severely corrupted) but if you get there start running a SFC CHKDSK and a DISM.

If you can't get into safe mode make a windows 10 USB and boot into it and go to repair my pc then go to command prompt and run there but make sure you are pointing it at the windows 10 on your HDD.

Another option is if you look at my past posts I have posted a ISO for shadowprotect. This is the best way to back up or just pull the data off if that's all you need.

I am more than happy to help if you send me a PM literally do this everyday as a 9-5! GL Heart

**Hey so saw you can get into safe mode.. Try to run those commands and then try again also check your event viewer might be something as simple as a driver.

Can I boot into safe mode and hit f4 or something to get in to CMD on the logon screen?

You will spam hit F8 during bootup. As long as you are able to get into safe mode and pull up a admin CMD there you'll be able to fix it. If its super mad you might need to rebuild the EFI partition but thats easy with the shadowprotect ISO I mentioned.

Fuck I completely forgot about that

Idk if DISM would work but I can probably get out of safe mode, if I can get to the system that would really help cus I don't have another system to make an ISO on

10/10
