I am currently a senior in college, and before I get out I want to learn how to properly trade options and be able to make money on my own if I ever need to. I have roughly $1000 that I can invest without worry, and I was wondering if anyone knew a good way I could learn about trading options considering I am new and haven't traded before.

Please don't say youtube, or if you do link a good series of videos, as with YouTube it seems as though half of them are trying to sell me a service and that is not what I am looking for.

Thank you so much if you help

Read books on options, understand the maths behind it. Look for people with proven records and what they do. Don't listen to tv bullshit with people just good at talking.

Get robinhood. They give you a free stock and I used it trade BTC.. I just wait for the price to drop by like 200-250 and I set my BTC to be sold when it goes up 250+.. They also have a lot of insights on different stocks if you use the pc version, but the phone app has a good chunk too

If you want to learn how to trade Forex (Foreign exchange, trading currencies), babypips is a very good resource. You'll learn everything you need to know there!

tradingview.com , get yourself a free account and do some paper trading (non-existing money). Best way to learn!
A piece of advise, do not listen to deceiving ppl on random trading forums!
