Yeah KSZ once said it himself, if you're aware that your thread is dead (dead link, dead method, dead proxies or whatever that doesn't work anymore and has no use as a thread) and you willingly bump it, that's considered spamming. SANTA got banned because he was mass bumping his dead threads.

Agree, this is impacting the forum
One repercussion (amongst other) is that it will display the same threads / authors to users browsing the forum, which results in a lack of diversity. It also gives less chance to less aggressive-posting people to have their threads displayed.
