Tokyo ghoul for me. Although they kinda rushed out the animated series it's still worth a watch

Attack On Titan had sparked a whole new world of interest for anime for Westerners. It's the latest season is REALLY good (graphics, music, action).

Some personal favorites of mine are Code Geass, Akame Ga Kill and Rising of the Shield Hero.

Prefer stories that have endings > Dragged on to oblivion
