thank you for the info, it seems so but since i know the value of that hash i tried to encrypt the same word in that hash to md5 but the hash i get is different than the one i have in my thread, it's suppose to be the same since i know the word, isn't that right?

Are you sure it's a valid hash? Bc it's the first time that not any tools can identify the hash

im not sure to be honest, it could be a custom function in the app im cracking, it turn the username into this sort of hash and i can't find out how to encrypt it not decrypt it
