From what I understand the buyer has received a trial list for a base.

 He liked the results he received when using this trial list. The buyer decided to purchase the complete base from the seller. The buyer after having received the complete base from the seller was not satisfied with the outcome. The buyer desires a full refund from the seller. The buyer argues that due to the trial list from the base he had purchased being present in the base it constitutes grounds for full reimbursement.

The fact that the lines from the trial list are present in the base is confirmation of that trial list having been taken from the base you had purchased.
 

Verdict:

The seller does not need to issue any form of refund to the buyer.
