i had a starkrdp server a few months ago. I wanted to test my RAT on that server. I used it for cracking mainly. The funny thing is, I loaded the RAT .exe on my server and did not open it. I anyway got a connection. From that day I knew that someone had access to my server even though I never installed any strange software. I did not even test my RAT on that server anymore.
I checked the connections via fiddler and wireshark and i have seen that i could see unencrypted traffic incoming and outgoing from other servers on the subnet. I have opened a ticket and told them about it. Unfortunately I had an accident and never got back to them. Now it all makes sense. I am sure they should have the logs of our conversation. Everyone with common sense will see that there is something strange going on.
