I totally understand how you feel. Some people were committed to this show since day one. I personally didn't start watching it until season 6 and binged it all to catch up. I'm one of those who believed that I could've bought into the ending if they had taken the time to explain it all and make it seem like the choices they made, made sense. However it was rushed and because of that it left several plot holes and unanswered questions. Though I will probably rewatch the series at some point, I don't think I would do it right now. It did leave a void in my mind that wasn't satisfied with how the show ended, but maybe that's just me not getting the ending I expected. I would suggest reading the books instead of just immediately jumping back into the tv series. I heard there's plenty more details and such in the books that might satisfy the hunger for detail you might be missing now that the show is over. I read some of the first book and listened to it on audio book whilst on a plane. It's good, however I just fell off the habit of reading it. I think that's a better route as it will expand more on the lore and detail that many of us craved from the show in the last season or two.
