Those are client side scripts, they don't harm or automate any "abusable" thing (such as auto bumping threads, auto liking, auto replying).
Honestly an API would be just way too easily abused, and there would be no point in making it approved only for a few people.

Honestly an API would be just way too easily abused, and there would be no point in making it approved only for a few people.

There are very easy ways to prevent this. The most popular : use API keys and apply a limit on them
