I've never tried teamspeak but I'm 100% happy with Discord

For simple users. Discord is almost perfect in terms of simplicity. although i hate how the desktop client uses electron.js. it just gives off this unnatural resizing bollocks which irritates me a bit (see image). although assuming you dont constantly resize it any way. you can make servers for free or join them but that comes with its pros and cons too
Teamspeak client is not made from a combination of html, css and js leaving it able to feel like an application rather then a web browser. but then again when i look at it. its difficult to understand for people just starting to use it and doesn't pride itself on ease to use (to me atleast, i might just be retarded). creating servers with teamspeak would require a server to host it on or to purchase one. but you can join others for free and thats cool. again. more pros and cons if you are not looking to mess around with servers and want something to understand easily i'd get discord https://imgur.com/a/saihdgA i accidentally put it in a few times. woops
