good example why this feature should be added
https://cracked.io/Thread-AIOSERIAL-gene...ll-on-sale

guy got "Scammed" Cause he bought something from a thread that had not gotten a bump from the OP in 3 years.

do we as users of cracked.io bear responsibility to close the thread ourselves? or make it known that we are no longer selling this product? - Answer : Yes obviously this is our responsibility. but many users just simply don't find it worth coming on cracked.io to close the thread. they simply leave it open and stuff like this happen.

But Even though is our responsibility. there's still large amount of "active" Sales thread in marketplace that are being bumped by Leechers (low iq people who cant leech properly and think the sales thread is something free) making it seem like the seller is active. and mistakes like above happens. maybe if we could have a rule that if you dont bump ur marketplace thread within a time (1 month, 2 months, 3 months) the thread will be automatically closed and put in https://cracked.io/Forum-Archive--204

I read it, so the post shouldn't be about closing threads but about deleting them.

Closing them and putting them in archive. is the best thing to do incase the user decides to come back to the forum and want to re-open his thread. and if you get "scammed" cause you bought something that is in the archive section of the marketplace. then you kinda deserve it.

User fault doesn't involve a thread close, user must be responsible of his own threads as users does for his purchases
