Hello
I've never made a formal thread regarding anything on this forum,
but I felt the need to make one on this topic as I see that too many people are falling
for these types of scams.
The infamous Amazon Store Cards are simply "Store Cards" with balance on them which
you use instead of a GiftCard or a Credit Card.
But unfortunately they stopped working a while ago, this caught the attention of scammers to take
advantage of this and profit A LOT.
Here's how the scam works:
You receive an Amazon Store card
A method that looks like this: https://pastebin.com/2fafekQB
And is basically told to follow the steps using the Amazon Store card that you received.
They are simply generated Amazon Cards that use the same BIN that is: 6045 7811 xxxx xxxx (fill the x with random numbers)
Their Terms and Service Always says something along the lines of:
OUR WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER THE FOLLOWING:
:x: ACCOUNT LOCKS / SUSPENSION
:x: ANYTHING YOU DO / ORDER AFTER LINKING THE CARD THAT LEADS TO FAILURE
That is because the account will lock after you've purchased something even when using the method.
Also, it is not possible to check how much an Amazon Store Card has in balance yet
some people promote and advertise them like this:
They are usually very cheap for HUGE amounts which just adds more reason to why it is a scam.
No one would sell you something that you can profit THOUSANDS off for a few dollars.
