What is FTIDING?
FTIDing is a process that refunders and social engineers use to manipulate tracking to get a parcel to go to a different location or get lost.

The diagram above that I created should help you visualize it, this is the simple concept that happens with all FTIDs, the carrier is forced to do something that it is not intending to do.
Tools required
You are going to need a PDF editor, to edit the text on a label, there are many tools to do this on such as Adobe Acrobat, PDFescape (Free) and many more just google “PDF Editor Free”.
What are the different types?
FTIDv1
FTIDv1 is a simple method, we are simply going to attach our label (UNEDITED) to an empty box, you can buy a box on Amazon etc for about $2, they are not expensive. When the company receives your parcel they will be confused why it is empty and may assume that the contents has been stolen, there are some tricks you can do to make it more believable such as; Putting two different types of tapes, adding some cut marks etc.
FTIDv2
FTIDv2 is basically the first method with an extra step where we are going to need to edit our label, so open up PDF escape or Adobe PDF editor and import your label, for this tutorial we will be using a Royal Mail label as they are simple to understand and great for beginners.

We now want to remove any information that relates back to us so in this case the following:

Edit: (I forgot to show where to edit the “Return to” address on the right of the label just change that to a random address as well.
This will confuse the sender making them not know who sent the parcel, you can even change the text of the tracking number on the label to make it less traceable. However the tracking will say it’s delivered.
FTIDv3
FTIDv3 is just adding to FTIDv2, however we are now going to change the delivery details as well making it so the parcel is delivered to the wrong location so we are going to want to edit the label to change the following info:

As FTIDv3 is one of the most popular FTIDs that people do, I have decided to provide some different labels for it to make it easier to understand:
UPS

FTIDv4
This method is basically FTIDv1, we do not need to edit the label, you print out an advertisement poster or something similar, stick the label to the back and post it off.
The hope is the company will trash the label with the advert on it.
FTIDv5
FTIDv5, this method is used when you receive a QR code from the carrier similar to the below:

For this, we are going to edit the Barcodes which include the details on them it will look something like this:
Random Address | Postal Code | Phone Number | Return Address | Tracking Number
You need to change the address information as if you are doing FTIDv3, you do not want to touch the tracking number, when edited you then turn the information back into a barcode / qr code and scan it, the information printed will then be FTIDv3.
* I cannot really show pictures for this I get it’s confusing; essentially when the person at the delivery shop scans the QR code, we are providing different details which makes the label print out differently to how intended, allowing you to do FTIDv2/3 on a label without having a label *.

FTIDv6
FTIDv6 is us creating the illusion of the parcel being robbed, similar to v1 boxing, we are going to get a cardboard box and stick our unedited label on it, you can then smash it to bits, it might sound stupid however the majority of places will believe you more if it’s smashed up, you can even do multiple levels of sticky tape, stab holes in it etc.
FTIDv7
FTIDv7 is a pretty cool method, it allows you to LIT (Lost in transit a parcel), without doing scans.
Essentially you are going to get a disappearing ink (
https://blueplanetink.com/shop/), and print your label with it, you are going to time it to see how long it takes to disappears, then wait until there is about 30-45 minutes till it disappears then drop it off, they will be unable to locate the parcel but it will have been dropped off meaning they cannot ship it, the tracking will just say “On the way”, Picked up”, “Dropped off at Post Office”, “Parcel Lost” or something similar.
RTS
RTS is when we make the parcel return to the sender, this can be done in a number of ways such as: Panels (Cracked or Created yourself), Scanning a label and shipping it out again, so let’s go over both! Also this is a simple diagram to explain kind of what happens:

Using a panel to RTS:
There are many people who sells Panels however they are very expensive and are known to break and be taken back by the original owner after only a few uses especially if they are cracked, this is what “FTID Services” use, a lot of them will even have access to management accounts which lets them never get taken back, I have even talked to people who can create there own panel accounts with the management accounts. Anyway I will stop rambling.
Effectively using your panel you are going to set the parcel to be “Returning to sender” in UPS access point panels this has mainly been disabled, however DHL, DPD, Royal Mail it is still working.
If you are considering doing this, you might as well go through a service unless you have your own refunding service or something because it will end up costing thousands every week to get new accounts.
Editing a label to RTS:
This method is a little bit slower and less reliable however it is free, we are going to mark the parcel as delivered to a different location or even mark it as returning back to the sender if you get lucky.
All you need to is get a mobile phone scanning app such as:

We then simply edit the labels address to a different address (not yours), such as the companies address who sent it, this will then show up on the tracking saying it has been delivered to the companies address and not yours, allowing you to get a refund as you have not received it.
RTS is one of the most wanted scans currently, and hence they are very expensive ranging from $50 to $200, search around majority of them are just reselling the same person and making $5 profit on it, spend at least 20 minutes looking you can find someone reliable and cheap.
