There have been so many and they mean so much. One in particular that always meant so much to me was when I was around 11 yrs olds.  I was bored that summer and so I would always  play cricket with neighbours. One day Mom took me to the nearby store  and got me a kit to make a rug, I chose the design, she explained each thing I needed. she taught me how to put shellac over pictures. I would find old pieces of wood or board in the laying around the streets , cut out pictures from magazine and shellac them to the piece of wood. Giving it several coats so it looked like the pictures were always there. I still have those crafts I made that summer and they mean so much now but the sweetest part was the time my Mom spent teaching me something and spending time with me that summer.
