I've seen this option on a couple forums I've been on recently.
What is a Security Deposit?
Security Deposit is a feature that would allow people making business on this site to deposit money to the site. This would show on the Profile.
Why is this a good addition?
This would prevent decent exit scams and would make a lot of people think about exit-scamming, since they have money in secuirty deposit.
If this user still scams the victims would be paid out a % or the whole amount to the victim that got scammed.
How to add it?
Not sure if technically possible but you could make a new site where every user has its own security-deposit address (BTC, LTC) mainly. They send money to this address and it updates real-time on the profile after receiving funds. The funds would not be accesible with a active marketplace post or service in general. This is not a need for every person to use the marketplace just a nice addition. For high-risk services like the E-Book Section this could be added as a NEED.
This is how it's looking on a different forum where this system is really working.
