The forum is overrun with leechers spamming threads to leech accounts, causing shared items to become invalid very quickly, which can dissuade some members from posting. Implementing additional [HIDE] parameters would prevent these leechers from destroying threads, further preserving their longevity and quality, and restricting access to genuine users. Additional [HIDE] parameters may include the following.

To view the hidden content, users must:

- Have spent a minimum of x days on the forum
- Have a minimum of x likes
- Have a minimum of x rep

Users creating threads will have the option of adding any of these requirements, on top of the original [HIDE] tag.

I agree with u on 2nd & 3th rule but what would new ppl do if they can't see hidden content not talk in sb, I personally wouldn't just stay for a total of 1 day just stalking ppl in sb. That's just my opinion Shrug

The suggested additional parameters don't necessarily need to be applied all at once, or any at all. It's just an additional option users can have when creating a thread.

For example, you can choose to post a thread with:

- Only the [HIDE] tag. // This is what we currently have, and the threads are accessible to everyone.
- [HIDE] + "minimum of 5 Likes"
- [HIDE] + "minimum of 10 rep"
- [HIDE] + "minimum of 100 Likes" + "minimum of 50 rep"
- [HIDE] + "minimum of 30 days spent on the forum" etc

This flexibility gives users the freedom to restrict threads, such as high-quality leaks, to certain members of the community.

Initially, I didn't understand what you meant, but I assume you think if a thread is restricted to x amount of likes, it means the thread needs to have that many likes. This isn't the case - it means only users who have a certain amount of likes, rep, or active days on their profile can unlock a thread.

For example:

I create a thread and [HIDE] it with a minimum requirement of 30 likes and 10 rep.

- Your profile has 50 likes and 10 rep, so you would be able to view it
- Another user has 10 likes and 0 rep, so he will not be able to view it.

This system cannot be abused because it doesn't serve to benefit the creator of the thread. Does that answer your question? Or am I misunderstanding what you mean by the potential abuse?

ur right this could be very helpful specially with shared accounts, i personally share accounts on forum. but what i mean is that some ppl would create ridiculous requirements and in addition i got some great friends who's been on forum for awhile and they even contribute but they're still stuck on like 3 or 4 reps cuz not like everybody just gonna +rep when u talk in sb, matter of fact some dumb members like @TheDictator etc abuse the repping system so what if i have -6 or -10 on my profile? am i not allowed to get access of that shared account? even creating another account is prohibited. so this might be a little unfair for many members.

That would depend on the person creating the thread. If they choose to restrict it to users with 100+ reputation, that’s their right, though I don’t anticipate many doing so - except maybe for exclusive, high-quality leaks. Also, setting a reputation requirement isn’t mandatory. As the goal is simply to filter out leechers, they could set a lower requirement of 20 likes, or something similar.

The idea of this feature is primarily to prevent leechers from leeching, and I believe it will be effective in doing so.
