Advice for first time hardware wallet owner

I've been dealing with crypto for awhile now, and I just decided to pull the trigger on a hardware wallet, the Ledger - Nano S Plus. I'm looking for good hardware compatible wallets, right now I use a desktop app that doesn't support it.

Suggestions & Advice are helpful.
