I am trying to remove att boot animation which is in /oem/media
I have the s22 Ultra

what is the best way to do it, maybe without even rooting, I've tried some file explorers but they showed that the /oem folder was empty..

You must be rooted to do this

Using your favorite File Manager with root permissions:

1: Open /oem/media
2: Mount r/w.
3: Remove or rename the file bootanimation.zip
4: Reboot

That should be it.

How can I root it safely, and can I "unroot" it later

It won't reset your phone unless you skip some steps. So, just follow the video and try to do it.
