Are large/Cruise ships and Yachts considered a BOATS ?

Recently In my mundane life, i realise i am regularly facing such questions which makes me wonder far and deep insight. I think the universe is trying to connect with me. However, i find myself often challenged to contemplate the right answer.  Please help me with my quest for the truth dear wise ones.  Are large ships, cruise ships and yachts considered as boats too?

A ship and a boat are two different things.
A yacht can be a boat or a ship.
They are all considered vessels.

Yes, they are. Because it is connected to a shipyard where all those boats are built by workers. 

My job is connected by being a captain of a yacht. Some of my clients are asking me simple but a bit silly questions: "Is it considered as a boat?" Sometimes I want to answer something like "No, it is a submarine!" :D

It would be cool though, if I would have such a possibility on my job of providing services in dubai marina rental boat. A dream job for the one who always had idea to become something more than just a driver...
