Wanna here people’s thoughts

Something that concerns me is that very notable streamers “not saying names” consistently having flying mounts and being funneled gear considering how the game is suppose to be well from what I understand. A experience were you really feel like that you accomplished something

That is what I’m excited for I love Grindy mmo’s and part of me wonders how streamers might affect this obv don’t play with them lol but for things like flying mounts and titles etc streamers will have a advantage anytime they get remotely serious

So for instance ok they become mayor for 2 months and you know they get bored don’t play as much patch 69.420 comes out and well there back and running for mayor against someone who maybe was a better pick but spergs and stans choose there favorite streamer

Or for instance some mayors may be chosen by combat instead of voting well they might have a huge advantage if they have been funneled gear Hackerman

Now this can happen really with anyone doesn’t have to be a streamer, world first guilds, hardcore raiding guild, power tripping neck beards

I guess for me the questions is more or less if I’m playing 6months to a year+ and some dudes “or dudet’s decided to power trip and bend everybody over how much of a impact can they sway over others

This isn’t all bad because for long term players it could drive a really cool narrative from a rp perspective which I think would be fucking awesome but for short term or “people who have a life” this could be a massive hinderance I mean you don’t wanna work all day come home load up your favorite game only to find out taxes have been raised and your getting evicted because you can’t afford Rent “the irony that this might be possible is fucking hilarious though kek “ but I can already see the blogs “tyrannical leadership in mmorpg server causes backlash” or some bs along those lines and the company caves to player demand releases flying to everyone etc etc

Anyone following the scoop and wants to add please comment would like to here other’s opinion’s
