Ban Certain IP's From Registering on Cracked.To Again

Leechers especially just take from the community and never give back to it. When inevitably they get banned they just make an account on the same IP address. Can we start banning IP's from people who register 5+ times and get banned for leeching every time?

Well nice idea but ip ban will not a big deal for them they may already use vpn which many of our active users also do so that may problem for them also

That's why I am saying to ban them from creating an account off of an VPN. Like how shoppy does it.

Also from a single ip not many accounts can be made in a short span. This limit is already implemented.

5+ times is too many. It is not like they want to come back and start contributing. However, most of cracked 1m members are leechers so the popularity of this forum really depends on it.

I'd say the suggestion isn't bad, but there are already features like the "Trust scan" that in some way have the same effect.
Disallowing the usage of VPN's / proxies would remove the privacy of users and since some users post content that's (considered) illegal, that privacy really is required.
