Today starts my journey to stop smoking. I threw away my cigarettes and I haven't smoked in 1 or 2 hours. I can already feel my body and my brain wanting to smoke.
I hope I can go through tomorrow without smoking. Smoking it's a waste of money and I need to stop it, already tried several times to stop, I hope I can finally stop.

If you have some good advices please lmk.

First days if not even weeks are the hardest as your body instantly feels the absence of nicotine, but if you can manage to get throught it it'll be better as time goes, good luck buddy

Hey man,
I think it's great that you want to break this bad habit.
Here are a few tips that work for me when it comes to breaking habits.

1. Forget about motivation, Focus on Discipline
Motivation is often just an uptake in action for a short period of time, whilst discipline strenghtens your mind and works longer

2. Trust and Acknowledgement
People love trust and acknowledgement and so does your own mind. Even if you smoke after 1 week again because of heavy desperation ofc it's bad, but acknowledge the week in which you didnt smoke and keep going - 1 week turns into 1 month and 1 month of perseverance will soon transform into 1 year and so on...

3. Replacement of Habits
Replace a bad habit by adding something to your life that you can be proud of. Wheter it be training or meeting up with new friends or making cash - distract yourself from negative desires and surround yourself with greatness.

4. Self-Hypnosis
Self-Hypnosis is real but only if you believe in it - hypnotize yourself. Try to think like the person that you want to be.
If you keep on doing the same things - you'll keep on living the same life.
So then when you change who you are - you change what you are living in

Hope this helps!

Going cold turkey is going to be really tough, but try to stick with it. Even if you end up smoking one or two don't just give up, you're going to have to take it one step at a time.
