I’d like to be able to pay for things with bitcon, but I’m clueless as to how to covert real currency to bitcoin. What apps do I need on phone?

I use CoinBase for CC (CryptoCurrency) related things on the phone. I believe there's an android version but I use an Apple device and there's one on the App Store.
With the app, you should be able to purchase BTC and such with a credit card / bank account, and receive/send payments after confirming personal information such as SSN/TID, Info, and confirmation of a valid Driver's License / State ID.

Thanks ,but I'm still confused. I signed up for CoinBase. Seems straightforward enough to add funds, but this site only uses coinpayments.com. So I don't get how I supposed to coinpayments linked to my CoinBase.
Can you help me out?
