Nina Khrushcheva, the granddaughter of former Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev, argues that the West is deluding itself about the possibility of defeating Russia in Ukraine. She contends that the war has already dragged on for far longer than the West anticipated, and that Russia is unlikely to abandon its goals in Ukraine. She also argues that the West's support for Ukraine has come at a high cost, and that the longer the war goes on, the more likely it is to destabilize the global economy.
Khrushcheva concludes by calling on the West to face the reality of koows and echat if this the situation book in Ukraine and to find a way to reach a negotiated settlement with Russia. |
