2. If it takes 5 machines 5 minutes to make 5 widgets, how long would it take 100 machines to make 100 widgets?
3. In a lake, there is a patch of lily pads. Every day, the patch doubles in size. If it takes 48 days for the patch to cover the entire lake, how long would it take for the patch to cover half of the lake?

Answer below in the following format:

The people who answer right will win some self confidence, cheaters will win shit, no prize.

If I get these wrong I am just simply going to blame it on the fact that I am tired. But fuck it lets just answer it because I feel like my brain is being tricked rn

1) $0.05
2) 5 minutes
3) This last one I am not going to bother answering because my brain is telling me 24 but that just seems too simple to be right. So answer for me.

Not that I posted but I agree except number 3, which is 47, it doubles every day, so the day before 100% would be 50%.

1) $1.05 because if the bat is $1 more than the ball, the ball must be $.05 + $1.05 for the bat = $1.10
2) 5 Minutes because since it takes 5 minutes for 5 machines to make 5 widgets, that means it takes 5 minutes for each machine to make 1 widget. As there are 100 machines, it will still take the same amount of time for each to build 1 widget.
3) 47 days because the lily pads double in size every day, for the lake to be half covered it must be 1 day before the lake was fully covered
