What is the most effective way to get feedback from customers? Customers don't always want to send what they think of our website and services in emails.
What other ways are there to elicit feedback from customers, but in a non-intrusive way? We really want to improve our product and sales on our website. The marketing and e-commerce books don't say much about this.

Such problems arise for many people because you don't press your customers. Often customers are one step away from buying but don't buy because they think to make the purchase after a while and forget about it. Here's an article about the eight negative consequences of abandoning the shopping cart https://claspo.io/blog/8-negative-effect...epreneurs/. When a customer starts to leave the site with a full shopping cart, offer them a coupon or discount for a limited time. You're pushing the customer to buy.
