Update : Feel free to add your opinion !
If a seller receives a DWC or gets banned, members who requested a vouch copy from him and vouched for his service should receive a punishment (warning points) .

This type of punishment will incite these members to elaborate more their vouching post, and to even make it more honest and lenient.
If you request a vouch copy which costs a few hundreds, that doesn't mean that product is always ideal and perfect.
(Sellers tend to sell indeed public ebooks thanks to their vouches owing to this forum.)

I'd suggest stricter rules concerning this whole vouching system :
  • "as a thread starter, have the rights to grant your vouch copies to any person of your choice regardless of the users rank. " : This rule should be removed since the seller can fake his vouches easily
  • Abusing vouch requests will lead to a temporary suspension
  • Giving out vouch copies to members with the following ranks: Godlike or Heaven needs to be compulsory :
    • Seller tend to claim that he has his own premade server which contains previous "vouches".
  • Adding vouch logs feature in a member's profile (Oxide : Given vouch log : 18 and you can access the vouch log )
  • Members bumping or "wishing luck" for other sellers should be prohibited and will result in an account suspension.
  • Seller's marketplace thread should be deleted within 5 days if no vouch reviews were posted.
And i just wanted to mention that the whole vouch system goal is to prevent scammers from having access to our community's marketplace.
By posting a fake vouch review for the sake of your own benefit (Positive rep, leeching free product) , you prove yourself not worth being a member in this community.
i suggest consequently blacklisting "vouch hunters" if proofs are provided.
A vouch is to give surety and assume responsibility .

The problem with your suggestion is that not always people vouching for something do it to help scammers. For example, if you are selling some accounts, and I vouch for you because your accounts are valid, then you decide to scam or get into a scam-like situation, why should I get punished for legitimately vouching for your service?

I agree , and as far as i'm concerned , an exception to this suggestion should be considered in case of the seller exit scamming for example .

This will lead new sellers to spam users with a decent usergroup to get some reputable vouches, which I think would be just annoying and it may be counterproductive.
I think sacrificing a bit of time for the sake of keeping the community safe would be worth it , even if it's annoying .

what if the service was legit at first so people vouched, but then seller decided to exit scam?
